If you are in the season where you are questioning most things — God, the direction of your life, why everything feels heavier than it should — you are not in the wrong place. The youth community of GKBJ Taman Kencana in Cengkareng was never built only for people who already know all the answers.
Come as you are. Sit at the back if that makes it easier. Nobody will single you out or make you introduce yourself in front of the room.
Two Groups
A high schooler and someone juggling university or a first job clearly do not need the same thing. So we do not force them into one room.
Teens
01Where teenagers gather, laugh, and work through the Bible without having to perform. Expect discussion, questions that are sometimes awkward, and friends going through the same stage of life you are.

RLVNT grew out of a simple conviction: a faith that has never been tested with honest questions rarely holds up for long. So this space was made for thinking. For asking the things that feel too blunt to ask elsewhere — about suffering, about doubt, about why life so often feels unfair, about whether any of this is actually real.
You can bring your doubts in whole. No need to leave them at the door or repackage them in more spiritual language. We would rather have an honest question than a memorised answer.

Small Groups
Honestly, one hour on a Sunday rarely makes anyone feel like they belong anywhere. What usually changes that is a much smaller room — five to a dozen people, sitting in a circle, opening the Bible, then talking about what is actually going on in their lives.
That is komsel, our small-group fellowship, and for young people at GKBJ Taman Kencana it is the real door in. This is where people remember your name. Where someone notices when you have been missing for two weeks. Where the question that is too personal for a big room finally gets asked.
There are no prerequisites. You do not need to pray in polished sentences, you do not need to know the order of the books, and you do not need a tidy life story. Just turn up, listen for a while if you prefer, and speak when you are ready.
Which group suits you depends on where you live and how your week runs. Message the church on WhatsApp at 0811 9913 366 and say you are a young person looking for a small group — we will connect you directly. Or come to a Sunday service first and talk to the welcome team at the door.
Honestly
This is the part churches usually leave off their websites, so here it is: you are welcome to come without believing anything yet.
Some of the people sitting in that room on a Sunday are still weighing it up. Some grew up in Christian homes but have never really decided for themselves. Some came because a friend dragged them along and stayed because it turned out to be a good place to be. Some are angry at God and have nowhere to put that anger yet. All of it counts, and none of it makes you any less welcome here.
We will not push you. Nobody is going to chase you into the car park, ask for your number, or press you for a decision at the end of an evening. You can come three times and disappear, and if you show up again a year later the door is exactly the same.
What we believe is clear and we do not hide it — you can read it yourself on the New Here page. But holding clear convictions and making room for people to question them are not opposites. Quite the reverse.

Teens meet as Heart of Teen every Sunday at 07:30, while young adults join the general Sunday services at 07:30, 09:30, or 11:30 and grow through small groups (komsel) during the week.
